principal Clary Naude and is located in the lovely rural area of Heilbron in the Free State.

The name of this excellent
music school "A Prima Vista", means "at first
sight". This is also called sight-reading,
thus to play
music while reading from the musical score for the first
time. This suggests that
young and old make music for the first time, get to learn
about musical notes, want to learn more about it and want to make progress
in it. |

The symbolism of the name of the school, indicates the
lovely attitude of the people of this school and the way in which they
do their music. Not only youngsters or music dilettantes may join the
school, but persons who already have some music knowledge may also
enlist. There are golden opportunities for everyone to joyfully play
music and share it with others.

With music there is so much to learn and so much to experience that one
has no alternative but to urgently accelerate (affrettando) and wants to
move forward with
enthusiasm (con spirito). Hence the splendid school motto: AFFRETTANDO CON SPIRITO. |

The Colla Parte Orchestra, who comprise about 10 members, is also part of the music school
and regularly gives performances. The music school pupils also regularly
attend special events such as weddings, feasts, receptions and similar functions.
Yearly A Prima Vista Music School presents other
important events. Those include the following:
The Riemland Talent Festival, during which the Ad Libitum Internet
Competition also takes place, Spring Concerts and Christmas concerts. |

The music school A Prima Vista is outstanding and offers
high quality music education to all their students. From as young as 4
years old to 70+ years can enlist at the school and every student
receives very special and individual attention. Training in a
variety of
instruments such as piano, church organ, keyboard, guitar, flute,
accordion, trumpet and violin are presented. Singing lessons are given
by Riana Mouton. |
